Art Licence Studio offers Direct Debit as a payment method for UK customers through our payment partner, GoCardless Ltd. Direct Debit payments are processed via the UK BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services) system.
By setting up a Direct Debit mandate with us, you authorise Art License Haven Ltd (trading as Art Licence Studio) to collect payments from your bank account for purchases made on our platform.
In accordance with the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (PSR 2017) and the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), we offer a 3% discount on purchases made via Direct Debit compared to card payments.
This discount reflects the lower processing costs associated with Direct Debit transactions. The discount is applied automatically at checkout when you select Direct Debit as your payment method.
Example: If an artwork license costs £100 via card, it would cost £97 via Direct Debit - a saving of £3.

For instant purchases (digital downloads), your order will be held until payment clears. For commission requests, the artist will be notified but work will not commence until payment is confirmed.
