When Direct Debit May Become Available

1. Overview

Art Licence Studio may offer Direct Debit as a payment method for UK customers only after a provider and exact UK BACS terms pass a separate launch review. No provider is promised by this draft.

In the current private beta, Direct Debit mandates and live Direct Debit checkout are not available for production use. This page cannot be accepted as a mandate or as authority for Art Licence Studio Ltd to collect money from a bank account.

2. Direct Debit Discount

Planned Direct Debit pricing remains a future commercial option. We do not offer a live Direct Debit discount during private beta, and no checkout should display one until the payment method is separately approved for production use.

If a Direct Debit discount is introduced later, the checkout will show the exact amount, eligibility rules, payment timing, and any effect on digital delivery before you commit.

3. Future scheme protections

Art Licence Studio does not offer a Direct Debit Guarantee today because no Direct Debit payment rail is enabled. Before any future launch, the selected provider and applicable scheme terms must be verified and the exact notice, cancellation and refund protections must be published without paraphrasing them as a current ALS promise.

No advance-notice period, refund process or cancellation effect is promised by this disabled-feature status page.

4. Setting Up a Mandate

When Direct Debit is approved, you must set up a mandate by providing:

• Your bank account number
• Your sort code
• Confirmation that you are the account holder or have authority to set up the mandate

The selected provider, data fields and ALS references must be disclosed before this feature is enabled. This draft does not claim how a future provider stores bank data.

5. Payment Timing

Exact submission, clearing, delivery and failure timing must be verified with the selected provider before launch. No service level, delivery hold or project-start effect is promised by this draft.

6. Failed Payments

Any retry, notice, cancellation and access effect must be shown before a mandate or payment is authorised. This draft does not promise an email or retry timetable.

No retry sequence, account effect or card fallback is promised until the payment methods and customer support process are approved.

7. Cancelling Your Mandate

You can cancel your Direct Debit mandate at any time by:

• Contacting your bank directly
• Using your bank's online banking or app
• Contacting us at support@artlicencestudio.co.uk

Because no mandate can be created today, this page does not state how cancellation would affect a future pending order, subscription, licence or commissioned project.

8. Data Protection

The future provider and its privacy information will be named only after the payment rail is selected and approved. No bank details are collected through this disabled feature today.
