Clear authority, price, funding, delivery and remedy rules for initial digital artwork purchases.

Initial licence scope
- When checkout is expressly enabled, ALS supplies one-off, non-exclusive licences for approved static 2D artworks and approved self-contained GLB artworks to verified adults in the UK and US. Each order uses exactly one supported market and currency pair throughout: GB/GBP or US/USD.
- The Order Summary and Licence Certificate identify the artwork, licensee, allowed uses, restrictions, territory, duration, attribution and delivered file.
- A GLB listing uses a separate reduced public preview and private source file. The source GLB is delivered only after authoritative licence issuance and buyer access checks.
- ALS Pro is the only recurring membership in scope. Other subscriptions, exclusive licences, physical art, printing, 3D printing or manufacture, non-GLB 3D formats, ImagePress credits and other excluded money products remain unavailable.
Commission funding and delivery-gated release
- When a governed commission flow is expressly enabled, the Commission Order must identify the Buyer or agency authority, Artist, brief, deliverables, stage amounts, acceptance conditions, licence scope and payment-release conditions.
- A paid commission brief cannot be published or invite paid proposals on a UI-only budget. It needs verified funding, PSP-backed payment state, approved enterprise credit or a documented ALS admin exception before publication.
- ALS facilitates the project workflow and records delivery, acceptance, dispute and transfer evidence. ALS does not provide a regulated third-party payment-custody service, payroll or day-to-day creative supervision.
- Artists should be shown the funded/protected status, stage amount and release conditions needed for trust, without exposing sensitive Buyer or agency financial details.
ALS Pro on the unified account
- ALS Pro is optional and costs £9 monthly or £90 annually in the UK, or $9 monthly or $90 annually in the US. It renews for the selected period until cancelled; the checkout summary controls the selected interval, currency and total.
- Buying artwork licences remains pay-as-you-go and separate from ALS Pro. Support is available on the same basis to Pro and non-Pro account holders.
- A Consumer can use the 14-day cancellation right. Immediate service start requires a separate express request and can result only in a proportionate charge for service supplied before an in-time cancellation.
Price and payment
- ALS is the Buyer-facing supplier and payment merchant; the Artist remains the copyright owner and source licensor.
- A GB order has a licence base of at least £20 and a final total no greater than £8,000. A US order has a licence base of at least $20 and a final total no greater than $8,000. There is no separate Buyer platform, Support Fund or processor fee.
- The Order Summary, payment and receipt use the same GBP or USD amount. ALS does not use Adaptive Pricing, convert a GBP base into USD, promise an exchange rate or combine amounts across currencies.
- A GB order from £2,000.01–£8,000 or a US order from $2,000.01–$8,000 cannot reach payment until an exact, expiring ALS director risk decision is recorded for the Buyer, Artist, Artwork, licence, total and currency. This review does not increase the price or reduce Buyer remedies.
- The transaction shows the full amount before payment. Where its tax record is VAT £0, the durable record shows VAT £0 and the receipt states that it is not a VAT invoice.
Immediate supply and remedies
- Immediate digital supply during the 14-day cancellation period requires a separate express request and acknowledgement that the change-of-mind right ends once supply begins.
- That acknowledgement never removes statutory remedies for an unavailable, faulty, corrupt, incompatible, misdescribed or unauthorised file or licence.
- ALS handles the Buyer-facing remedy from the server-recorded order and delivery evidence. Depending on the facts, this can include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Your authority and licence use
- Use your own verified identity and payment method. If you order for a company, agency, team or client, you must have authority and name the correct licensee.
- Use the artwork only as the Licence Certificate permits. Viewing, saving, commenting on or receiving a preview does not grant rights.
- A contained-GLB licence is for the exact digital uses stated in its Licence Certificate. It does not grant physical manufacture, 3D-printing, fabrication, product-production or rights in STL, CAD, OBJ, FBX, text glTF, USD or USDZ files.
- Report a delivery or rights problem through support with the order reference; never send a full card number, password or authentication secret.
The Terms of Service, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and exact Licence Certificate also apply. Nothing here limits a statutory consumer right.
